We opened our doors in Canggu, Bali in April 2018 and haven’t looked back. Cute Mistake is here to bring something new and fresh to the Bali shopping scene. Say goodbye to the boho babe, you wont find her here. Our super cute sugar pink shop holds a collection of original stand out, dress up or down outfits, which will keep your summer (insta 
) photos fresh and fun.
In store we offer printed and paneled swimwear, cheeky casual shorts, fresh boyfriends tees, saucy bralettes, vintage denim finds, one off custom jeans, sleek cargo trousers, Cute AF tops and a lot more.
Whether you’ve just gotta try everything…because lets face it, it’s all pretty dam rad…or you know the exact fit your in store for, our helpful, friendly balinese staff are always there to help you out. Slink into our changing room, behind the super soft baby pink suede curtain while bae shares some of those lux feels, sitting on our hot pink velvet chair, waiting for you to make the big reveal!
We are super stoked that our shop has become a little insta spot for your newsfeed! Make sure after you’ve done shopping for you new Bali ‘not so basic’ bits, that you get a photo with our shop mascot – Pinky Bear! We can assure you he gives the best hugs. Or keep your selfie game hot with our GRL PWR graffiti flame interior walls.
As a small independent brand we have designed our shop to bring you the best boutique experience we can. By shopping with us you are supporting young brands owned by individuals like ourselves. There is ALOT of mainstream shopping to be done in Bali but The Gu is a hub for young creatives and we love being a part of that Canggu Community!
We like to support other local, young designers and business owners by stocking concessions that fit with our carefree, fun loving Cute Mistake holiday vibes.

BALI VINTAGE DENIM
Our Cute Mistake Custom Denim collection is made up of personally sourced vintage denim. We stock a range of great quality Lee, Levis and Calvin Klein jeans which we customize to give them a new life. Bold checks, colourful flames, playful patches and raw edges are just a few ways we upcycle our vintage denim finds. Not one of our Custom designs are the same so you can be sure while you are at Mrs Sippy pool bar or Balangan Beach you won’t have any awkward outfit twinning moments.
Our love for denim is never ending, so this year 2019 we have designed a fresh range of NEW Cute Mistake denim, which you can check out in store.
SUMMER SWIM
If you’re looking for that itty-bitty tanning triangle bikini or the one to withstand falling of your surfboard and getting rolled by the waves, we’ve got both for you! Bold colours, panels and prints are how we do. All our swimwear is fully lined with a flexible stretch for easy wearing and withstanding the hot sun! We can’t wait to see some of you Bali beach babes hanging out in Uluwatu on the waves or at the Ubud jungle pools. All those back drops are to Dieeee for!
BEACH 2 BAR BOTTOMS
From relaxed beach bottoms, biker shorts and denim skirts we have those saucy statements and basic bottoms available for all shapes and sizes. As well as our forever growing vintage denim range we stock sizes XS – L in soft, relaxed baby terry high wasted shorts and colorful stripe denim shorts. All pretty easy going styles that can be worn in the day or night. Vaycay Vibes forever.
